So, its official! Jeremy and I are having an adult vacation to Las Vegas September 29th-October 2nd. The American Cancer Society is sending me on a fully paid vacation and it was less than $300 to bring Jeremy along. We are staying at the Riviera. Two days I will be in seminars, but Saturday I am done at 2 and Jeremy and I will have one night by ourselves.
We are looking forward to it.

So, I know I haven't written in a while
Hi all -
So, I haven't been keeping up here lately, but we haven't been up to much. We have been doing the dentist appts before school starts and the doctors appts. Jen has kidsat for Mia and Markus three days. The five us have been busy playing games and going to the park. Jeremy's employee quit/got fired, so Jeremy has been doing it all again. Being that school is starting he is just going to work himself to death for a bit to make us some money. We have been shopping for school supplies. Always fun. Jeremy being in this independent achievement class - they have a fun list - oil pastels, chalk pastels, colored pencils, a protractor (scary thing is he knows how to use it). And lots more fun stuff you don't find in the dollar bins at Walmart. I paid almost 30 this afternoon for 4 things out of 15. Need a financing plan.
So, soccer should start this week with practices and a Jamboree on Sept 10th. We are also going to six flags again this summer before they close. $12.00 ticket day. You can't beat it. We all get it for the price of one normal ticket. Altough, they get another 7 out of you to park your car.
Well, things will start happening fast and furious again here next week. JJ starts school on the first and Tyler morning preschool on the 7th - Mon, Wed, Fri. So, I will have to learn how to get two kids off to school in the morning. Tyler used to get up and dressed and we would take Jeremy to the bus, then come home and eat and brush teeth and hair, but this year he will have to be ready too.
I will write soon.

Why can't something like this happen to me?
This was a top story today:
3 Kids Find $98,000. They Get to Keep It
It's the ultimate case of finders keepers, losers weepers. Three children from Boulder County, Colo., were walking through a field last February when they stumbled upon a duffel bag stuffed with wads of cash. The kids did the right thing. They took it home to their parents, who then turned it into authorities. The Internet Broadcasting System reports that the bag had probably been in the field for some time as the bills were wet and moldy.
Many of the bills found by the children were in pretty bad condition. Click to see a photo shot by police. (Photo: Internet Broadcasting System)
Well, good news for the kids! The Boulder County Sheriff's Office, which surmised that the loot could have been drug money, has now determined it's not related to any current case so the three children get to split the money three ways and keep it. The sheriff's office presented the parents of the children with checks that totaled $98,000.
A Biblical treasure has been found in the desert, and it has all the makings of a movie: A secret desert encounter. A robber. An ancient Biblical scroll. But it's real.
"The kids are dividing it among themselves," one of the children's mothers told the Boulder Daily Camera. She spoke on condition of anonymity out of concern for her family's safety. "It is a pretty good start on college savings, so they are happy about that."
Yeah, I am going to start searching the desert!!
