Robots

Jeremy and Tyler built a robot and then had to program it to do tricks. They did pretty good. Lots of trial and error.

Millenium Falcon

Here is a model size Millenium Falcon. They used it for a lot of scenes in the movies. I bought the boys one at the museum store, so they could put it together.

Star Wars in Portland

On Dec 22nd, we ventured down to Portland Oregon to go to the Museum of Science and Industry to see the Star Wars exhibit. It was there to show how robots are changing the world and improving everyday life. They had a whole bunch of props from the movie though. And yes I am going to post them in the next few blogs. Here is a picture of Jeremy, Tyler and Dad out front.

Daisy and Cheyenne making friends. Cheyenne actually likes her. She lets her sleep in the doghouse and lets her eat first. Just like a good mama.

Meet Daisy. We found her at the grocery store and just couldn't leave her there.

After we went around the lake - the boys decided to go swimming. Jeremy Jr found 2 of his friends from his school class and they all went in.

On the 25th, we decided to go for a walk around Deep Lake. You can walk all the way around. Its a nice little nature trail about a mile long. Here is Jeremy and Dylan by the lake. We usually take our boat to this lake and troll around, but just a hike today.

And Tyler too!!
Jeremy and Tyler have been begging to take their bikes to the bike park. Its just a bunch of hills. The older boys can actually jump them. So, here is Jeremy trying to get over the hump. They went to slow at first and couldn't make it over, but once they did it - there was no stopping them.

In August, Jen's grandma came to visit from Ohio. We had a busy week and one of our stops was to Mt. St. Helens. These pictures just don't do it justice. It was a bright sunny day. And there was an explosion the day we were there. It was pretty neat. We went for a little hike out along the ridge. Jeremy and my dad contemplated hiking to the top. Posted by Picasa
Dylan. He is such a cute child.
