Boating on Bumping Lake

Bumping Lake  Posted by Hello

This is Bumping Lake. Its up highway 410 about halfway between Enumclaw and Yakima.

Dylan driving. Definitely a Watts kid! Posted by Hello

Dylan is definitely a Watts kid. He wanted to drive the boat in a bad way. He was so stubborn about it too.

Then, we find out what happens when you don't behave right with your fishing poles. A few minutes after Jeremy barely missed Dylan and hooked dads shirt, he was hanging on for dear life from the side of the boat. Tyler thought it was funny, so he joined Jeremy. I don't think either of them will mess around with the hooks again.

Memorial day weekend camping!

Camp and Cheyenne Posted by Hello

Here is a picture of our dog Cheyenne laying around at camp. We were right on the Naches River off Bumping Lake Rd. We found a great spot and the kids found lots of other kids to play with. They road bikes up and down the dirt road all day. It was great. Nice and relaxing.

Lazy weekend

We had a lazy weekend here in the Watts house. Friday Jen was so sick (I laid in bed almost all day). The boys went to see STAR WARS: Episode III in case you were out of the loop. Tyler fell asleep during it. Saturday, Jen finally got Jeremy's vest sewed for boy scouts (its only been since March 30th). Yes the sewing machine has been sitting on the table this whole time!! But, graduation is not until June 10th, so its not like I waited until the last minute. Today, we did a little yard work and worked in the carport to get it cleaned up (Huge Mess). But, it started raining and Jeremy had to go to work, so...
We hired 4 new employees this week. Doing good there. Still need a few. At least two.
I guess thats all for now.

Finally a Toss Ball game

After 3 rainouts Jeremy finally had a baseball game today. He was up to bat a bunch and never got out!! He had to use the tee a few times (they only get 5 hitable pitches), but he did get some hits. It was really fun.

Training wheels off!! Posted by Hello

Tyler not to be outdone by his brothers new bike took his training wheels off and just took off. He did great. He feels like a big kid. Now he can really jump over the speed bumps.

Jeremy's new bike. Already doing tricks. Posted by Hello

Friday the 13th was JJ's birthday. He wanted to go to Old Country Buffet for dinner. When we got home his new bike was waiting for him. He loves it.

Opening Day at the Safeway!!

The Safeway here in Enumclaw has been remodeled and today was opening day. It was crazy. You would have thought it was the day after Thanksgiving at Walmart. People were lining up for free food and the 12 packs of coke for 1.50. They were giving away DVD players, shopping sprees, food, and coffee. I think the whole town of Enumclaw was there!! I did manage to get out of there after about an hour with a savings of 54.78!!! So, I think I did good. I did get a free coffee. Although, I didn't get free gas which I really wanted.

Rain Rain Go Away

No baseball games yet. Mondays game was cancelled due to rain. Today's game was cancelled because there was too much mud on the fields. Keep you posted.

Mom's Day at the zoo

Mom and Me at the Zoo Posted by Hello

Every year on the Saturday before Mom's day we do the Mom and Me at the Zoo. You buy the shirts, then you get into the zoo for free. And you get a free Krispy Kreme donut. We have done this 7 years in a row. We went to Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. JJ has a school project to do on a rainforest so we did some research. The animals were all out. It was a great day.

Mothers Day Weekend

My boys SPOILED me this weekend. Saturday we went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. JJ has a project due about tropical rain forests, so we did a little research. We did the rounds and then headed for the Old Spaghetti Factory. The spaghetti was so good.
We headed out to where Jeremy's brother and sisters were camping and had some marshmellows. The kids ran around.
Sunday morning I slept in and the boys woke me up with steak, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast in bed. Then, they gave me their presents. Tyler made me a card and JJ made me a card with a beautiful picture of a flower that he drew and then watercolored. It was really pretty.
We headed out to the cemetery and to see Jeremy's grandma. It was a nice day.

Tyler off the diving board!!

I forgot to mention - when we went to the pool a few weeks ago that Tyler went off the diving board. I have always said "Tyler is the daredevil."

Nap Time!!

So, here is what you have to look forward to with kids. Nap time. Its so quite and peaceful. But this blog is about parent nap time. This week Jeremy and I have been so tired. We have been taking naps. Jeremy gets up early and comes home from work and sleeps for 2 or 3 hours. Well, today it is my turn. When Jeremy gets home from work - I am going to have nap time. (Dylan was up at 5:45 this morning). Too early for me.

Baseball has begun

JJ has started coaches pitch baseball this year and is doing awesome. He had some great hits in practice so far. We start games next Monday. It should be fun.

33 days and counting

JJ only has 33 days of school left and he has begun the countdown. I can't believe how quickly the school year went. We have a five day weekend for Memorial day. That never happened when I went to school.

We got the trailer back....

So, Saturday we went and picked up the trailer. It only took 23 days instead of the maximum of 12.

Date Night!!

Jeremy and I had a date night last night! We went to dinner and a movie. Jen's mom came down and spent some time with the boys. We went to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse. They have awesome prime rib. Its seasoned so good. Then, we went to see the new XXX:State of the Union. It was a little unrealistic, but it was good. At least the story was original.
